About W-SSOC
The Winston-Salem Ski & Outing Club is a year-round skiing, outdoor activities and social club that includes singles, couples and families of all ages and interests located in Winston-Salem and surrounding area of North Carolina. W-SSOC is a member of the Crescent Ski Council and the National Ski Council Federation. Interested in becoming a member? Visit our member page to find out more.
Meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month at 6:30pm and the meeting place varies from month-to-month.

Club Activities
Skiing and Racing
W-SSOC has some great trips planned! As a club member, you are also eligible for the Crescent Council trips as well.
Interested in Ski Racing? It’s a great way to spend time with the whole family or just come for some healthy competition against the other clubs throughout the South.
Events
Summertime offers plenty of opportunities to get out and explore by foot or on your bike. Every year the club hosts a Bike and Hike weekend in Damascus, Va. Hike a part of the Appalachian Trail or Bike the Creeper Trail. There are lots of things to do nearby as well like attending a play at the Barter Theater or shopping in Abingdon.
Social Time with Friends
Join us every third Thursday of the month for news and details of upcoming events and trips that are being planned. Hang out and have a glass of wine or grab a beer at our next event.
