membership

Annual dues cover the period June 1-May 31. To ensure uninterrupted rights and privileges in W-SSOC, renewals are due and payable on or before May 31. Membership in the W-SSOC includes membership in the Crescent Ski Council. All members agree to abide by the Bylaws of the club and to the Waiver of Liability contained in the Bylaws and in the Membership Application, and, where applicable, the Ski Vacations Description.

Print the WSSOC Application form and mail it with the applicable dues. Or, bring it to the next Club Meeting (See our Facebook Page for details). Make checks payable to W-SSOC and mail to W-SSOC Membership, PO Box 24304, Winston-Salem, NC 27114-4304

Fees

Single – $25

One (1) person, eighteen (18) years of age or older. A single member in good standing shall be entitled to one (1) vote and may hold any elected office.

Household – $40

One (1) or two (2) adults in the same household, and any of their dependent children under eighteen (18) years of age, or full time dependent students under twenty-one. Each adult in good standing shall be entitled to one (1) vote, up to a total of two (2) votes per household membership, and each may hold any elected office. The dependent children or student members shall not be entitled to vote or hold office.

Youth – $10

One (1) person, twelve (12) years of age through one day less than eighteen (18) years of age at the time of application or renewal. A youth member shall not be entitled to vote or hold elected office.

Guest Policy

Guests are welcome at all club meetings and certain activities. These activities include but are not limited to socials, day hikes and bike rides.

Activities involving overnight stays are limited to W-SSOC members or members of authorized clubs of the Crescent Ski Council.
